spotted munia  or scaly breasted munia lonchura punctulata : size: 10.7 to 12 cm one of the beautiful munia which is now having its nesting season. its now collecting grass for its nest. couples together building, nest for its next generation. mostly it prefers small shrubs where it constructs in cylindrical manner. very shy bird ,hesitations , so it just fly when we go near. but these birds prefers its nest near human habitat.it also construct on building roofs., near lakes etc wide spread resident;adult has chestnut throat & upper breast,& whitish under parts with dark scalings. its an eye catching bird seen now .

Its habits are typical of a munia. It flocks sometimes up to 200 or more, hopping about gleaning grass seeds, etc.

ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಆಗುತ್ತಾ ಆಗುತ್ತಾ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ನೆಲ ಜಾಲವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ , ನಗರೀಕರಣದಿಂದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಸಾದ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತಿದೇವೆ .ಅದರ ಪ್ರಭಾವದ ಒಂದು ಜ್ವಲಂತ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚುತ್ತಿರುವೆ .ಎಲ್ಲ soap ಶಾಂಪೂ  ಸೇರಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹೊಳೆಯು ಈಗ ಡಿಟರ್ಜೆಂಟ್ಗಳ ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ದವಾದಂತಿದೆ . ಗಿನ್ನಿಸ್ ಧಾಖಲೆಯತ್ತ ಈ ನೊರೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ………………..ಈ ಹೊಳೆಯು ಹುಣಸೂರಿನ  ಬಿಳಿಕೆರೆ ಇಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಮೈಸೂರ್ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಖಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪನದಿಯಂತೆ ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನ ಕಪಿಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ !!! ಪವಿತ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥ ಸ್ನಾನ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ !!!……………

… ಹಾಲಲ್ಲೂ ಬಾರದ ನೊರೆ ಹೇಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತಿದೆ ನೋಡ!!!!
